About Steph
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed just trying to find the right kind of help, you’re not alone—and you deserve to feel supported from the very first step.
As the Clinic Coordinator at Trauma Healing Therapy, I hold a deep respect for how vulnerable it can feel to reach out for support—especially if you’ve experienced trauma, felt unseen in the past, or are unsure where to begin. I understand that the process of finding care can sometimes feel confusing, discouraging, or even intimidating. And I believe it shouldn’t be.
My role is to make this process feel easier, not harder. I help match you with the right therapist on the Trauma Healing Therapy Clinical Team, answer your questions, and ensure you feel supported every step of the way—so you can focus on what matters most: your healing.
What This Work Means to Me
My approach is grounded in something simple but powerful: you deserve to feel seen, heard, and cared for—not just in the therapy room, but from your very first interaction with us.
This belief is deeply personal. I understand how overwhelming it can feel to seek support and not always know where to turn—and how meaningful it is when someone meets you with clarity, warmth, and genuine care. That’s why I see the intake process not as administrative, but as an essential part of your healing journey.
Many of the clients we support are navigating the impact of trauma—whether that’s relationship wounds, childhood experiences, or moments where they weren’t seen or supported when they needed it most. Often, what they’re carrying isn’t just what happened, but the absence of care around it. I hold that with a lot of respect. I also deeply believe that the ways people have adapted to survive are not signs of weakness—but of incredible strength.
My background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UC Berkeley, ongoing graduate training in Integral Counseling Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies, and additional training in leadership, family mental health education, and yoga. But more than any single training, it’s the integration of my lived experience, education, and commitment to client-centered care that shapes how I support people.
In my role at the clinic, that means I bring a communication style that is compassionate, clear, and grounded in truth. I will meet you with kindness, while also helping you move forward with clarity. I think both analytically and intuitively—helping you navigate options, while also honoring what feels right to you.
Because at the end of the day, I believe this deeply:
You are the expert of your own experience, and you deserve care that reflects that.
If you’ve been searching for a place where you’ll feel genuinely supported—not just as a client, but as a whole person—I’m here to help you take that first step.
