How much does therapy cost?
Please visit the rates & fees page to find out more about our rates.
What type of insurance do you accept?
While Trauma Healing Therapy is an Out Of Network (OON) Provider, we are an insurance friendly practice, since we have partnered with a service that helps check your out-of-network (OON) benefits and provides an estimate of what your insurance may reimburse for therapy. Check it out yourself here! mentaya.co/b/o0REePusDeDgQe41bfKn
However, we do not directly communicate with your insurance nor can guarantee reimbursement, and clients are still the sole responsible for payment to our practice. Clients are the sole responsible for their own claim submission.
We always recommend that you call your insurance provider directly to confirm the details of your coverage and benefits, but this is a great tool to start with having an idea of your OON benefits!

How long does it take to feel better?
This is one of the most common—and most human—questions we hear, and the truth is: it’s different for everyone. Some people begin to feel a sense of relief or hope after the very first session, simply by being heard and supported. For others, especially those carrying deep or long-standing trauma, it can take more time to begin noticing meaningful shifts.
Healing is not linear, and it’s okay if it takes time. What matters most is that you’re not doing it alone. At Trauma Healing Therapy, we’re here to walk alongside you with patience, compassion, and the tools you need to move forward. We establish treatment goals together (as long or short as you want, based on your unique needs). Our biggest goal is always the same: to help you feel safe, supported, and empowered to heal at your own pace. There is hope—even if you can’t see it yet, we see it for you. And in time, you’ll begin to feel it too.
How can I know if we are good match?
This is a great question! Just schedule a free of charge initial consultation and get a feeling of us and find out! It’s important to feel comfortable and safe with your therapist. The best way to know if we are a match is by doing a free consultation so we can speak and determine if we’d be a good match after our conversation. Please feel free to contact us online with any question, schedule a free consultation or calling (408) 389-4075.
